The European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT) is an independent body of the European Union set up in 2008 to deliver innovation across Europe. EIT is part of the Horizon 2020 programme, the European Union's research and innovation framework programme.
EIT Food is a pan-European consortium working in the fields of entrepreneurship and innovation in the agriculture and food sectors. Members of the EIT Food community are global actors in the food industry with over 50 partners from top business, research centers and universities in 13 different countries.
EIT Food aims to accelerate innovation and business growth in the agriculture and food sectors by encouraging entrepreneurship with existing skills and unlocking the potential of small and medium businesses.
Operating in more than 100 centers and 60 countries around the world, Impact Hub is a platform which brings the impact driven changemakers together and provides the collaborative environment they need.
Serving as a member of the global Impact Hub network, Impact Hub Istanbul designs collaborations with influential partners and provides programs, events, mentorship, office areas and networking support for social entrepreneurs and impact oriented individuals and institutions.
